Gasser Felstechnik AG, based in Lungern, has earned its reputation as specialists in preventative rock blasting and rock stabilisation. The angular letter G in white on a blue background is a familiar logo on building sites in Switzerland when work is being undertaken to keep residents safe during operations in precarious, rocky terrain. The company also carries out underground works and specialist civil engineering commissions in addition to its activities above ground. Their work involves shaping the rocky environment in line with the contractor's wishes and ensuring that everything stays as “rock-solid” as it should be. Expertise, quality and state-of-the-art technology ensure that for every problem the right solution can be found. The company can also provide support with planning-related questions. Gasser Felstechnik is responsible for the rock stabilisation work within the 3S project and for blasting out the foundations for the new mountain station.
